Kelip-Kelip Airlines

Anyone wonder why the new MAS-subdiary budget airlines, Firefly, have a website address as http://www.fireflyz.com.my/ instead of www.firefly .com or http://www.firefly.com/
What in the world is that 'z' for? Well, the answer could be here

or here.

Jip firefly.com is owned by no less than Microsoft. It's a big strategic mistake of Firefly Airlines not to own their domain - it's gonna cost them, considering that most tickets are sold online these days.

Perhaps FA still counting on Malaysian's trend of buying ala brick&mortar way. Obviously someone forgot internet means global reach.

Another example of Malaysian GLC (goverment-linked company) that wasted the public tax money away, failure after another.

Fyi, Kelip-kelip in malays means firefly.
